After a steep climb, the view opens up to a blue sea shimmering in all its facets. Although the village has had to make some concessions to tourism in recent years, Cala San Vicente has retained its authentic atmosphere in many corners. This is also due to its location away from the nearby attractions <a href=\"https:\/\/marcelremusrealestate.com\/en\/blog\/port-de-pollenca-strandidylle-unter-palmen\/\">Port de Pollen\u00e7a<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/marcelremusrealestate.com\/en\/blog\/faszinierende-gemeinde-pollensa-auf-mallorca\/\">Pollensa<\/a>. Nevertheless, all the sights in the vicinity, including <a href=\"https:\/\/marcelremusrealestate.com\/en\/blog\/die-metropole-palma-de-mallorca-eine-der-lebenswertesten-staedte\/\">Palm<\/a>, quickly reached, making Cala San Vicente an ideal base, <a href=\"https:\/\/marcelremusrealestate.com\/en\/blog\/mallorcas-norden-unberuehrte-idylle\/\">Mallorca's North<\/a> to explore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The former fishing village presents itself today as a tranquil holiday resort with a colourful mix of holiday homes, apartments and hotels. Architectural diversity is emphasised, with each property blending harmoniously into the overall picture. The main attraction of Cala San Vicente is the breathtaking landscape that surrounds the village, offering relaxation and <strong>Romantic moments<\/strong> \nThis allows for. On the main road, there is a vintage car collection to view, which, like an art collection, belongs to the owner of the Hotel La Moraleja. The area is ideal for long walks along the coast. Perched proudly above the cliffs is an old watchtower, which once protected the village from pirates and offers a great view over the sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The beaches of Cala San Vicente<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Turquoise water and four coves framed by rocks \u2013 these are the beaches of Cala San Vicente, which, from the <a href=\"https:\/\/marcelremusrealestate.com\/en\/blog\/serra-de-tramuntana-traumhaftes-gebirge-inmitten-der-insel\/\">Tramuntana Mountains<\/a>\n accessible via the Ma-2203. Cala Barques, the largest of the Cala San Vicente beaches, has a free car park where a bus also stops. Stairs lead down to the beach. The view in the bay looks out onto the rocky coast, which is overgrown with pine trees on one side and repeatedly serves as a backdrop for films. The beach itself is 85 metres long and 40 metres wide, sloping gently into the water. In strong winds, the <strong>Swell<\/strong> \nbe correspondingly high. Especially snorkelers will get their money's worth,\n and pedal boats can also be hired. A bar, toilets, showers and a\n restaurant ensure a perfect day at the beach. The old landing stage,\n which once served fishermen to bring their catch ashore, is still\n preserved. Cala Clara is reached via the Cala Barques car park by a small\n path. The small beach has fine-grained sand\n and is particularly popular with holidaymakers in the surrounding hotels.\n Cala Molins, the most popular beach in Cala San Vicente, can also\n be reached directly by car and bus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the summer, the 50-meter-long beach gets quite crowded, not only due to its excellent infrastructure, including lifeguard supervision, but also because of the view of the peninsula. <a href=\"https:\/\/marcelremusrealestate.com\/en\/blog\/cap-formentor-landschaftliches-highlight-im-norden-mallorcas\/\">Formentor<\/a>.Cala Molins is also beautiful in the evening, when the sunset over the bay can be watched from the surrounding restaurants. Even in high season, it is often quiet on the somewhat secluded pebble beach of Cala Carbo. The water conditions are inviting <strong>Yachts<\/strong> to anchor in and <strong>Diver <\/strong>prefer to head out on their exploration trips from here. For families with children, this beach at Cala San Vicente is less suitable, due to the lack of services and the steep drop into the sea. However, couples will get their money's worth in the romantic surroundings with the steep cliffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Good food, quiet nights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Around the bays of Cala San Vicente you'll find <strong>many restaurants<\/strong>.Some of these belong to hotels but are open to outside visitors, for example, the Cala San Vicente restaurant. In the restaurant of the <a href=\"https:\/\/marcelremusrealestate.com\/en\/blog\/boutique-hotels\/\">Boutique Hotels<\/a>\n Hoposa Niu serves unique Mediterranean delicacies with sea views. C\u2018 al Patro, whose lampshades made from fishing baskets lend a rustic touch, is suitable for a lunch near the beach. The establishment specialises in seafood. Cala Barques, situated directly on the beach, also serves fish and paella; in the summer, there is live Cuban music. <a href=\"https:\/\/marcelremusrealestate.com\/en\/blog\/traditionelle-mallorquinische-kueche-vorgestellt-von-marcel-remus\/\">Majorcan specialities<\/a>\n With a pinch of innovation, Lavanda has on its menu. Those who need a break from Neptune's treasures will be happy at Pizzeria Poli. For a light snack in between, many bars and bistros near the beach entice. In the evening, Cala San Vicente becomes tranquil. Extensive nightlife is not available. Discos and numerous opportunities for year-round celebrations can be found in nearby Pollensa and in <a href=\"https:\/\/marcelremusrealestate.com\/en\/blog\/alcudia-geschichtstraechtige-stadt-im-malerischen-norden-mallorcas\/\">Alcudia<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From Cala San Vicente, soak up nature and culture.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many holidaymakers choose Cala San Vicente as a base for extended <a href=\"https:\/\/marcelremusrealestate.com\/en\/blog\/wandern-auf-mallorca-die-schoensten-routen\/\">Hikes<\/a>\n or mountain bike tours in the Serra de Tramuntana. Alongside challenging routes, there are also family-friendly hiking trails that combine nature and culture as part of a day trip. Popular detours by hire car lead from Cala San Vicente to Pollensa, where you can discover churches, monasteries and the 330-metre-high Puig. The shops offer a quirky mix of handicrafts and local specialities. Think Cosmetic Shop produces high-quality toiletries from Mediterranean ingredients, Mallorca's best Ensaimadas are sold at Ca'n Xim bakery, and the textile shop Teixits Vicens is one of only three companies still producing fabrics with the traditional Mallorcan \"llengos\" pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the road from Pollensa to Alcudia lies Bodegas Ca\u2019n Vidalet, which is one of the <strong>best wine cellars on the island <\/strong>In the popular tourist resort of Alcudia, you can continue your shopping trip through the narrow streets of the old town. The Roman ruins are also worth seeing. The path leads past Puerto Pollensa into the Formentor area, where the Serra de Tramuntana meets the Mediterranean. In addition to the unique view at Cap Formentor, rare Eleonora's falcons and numerous other seabirds can be observed.
