Anyone who wants to put together a pandemic-compliant event in times of Corona needs nerves of steel. Unexpected things can almost certainly be factored into the calculation. And these days, no one dares to experiment or even make short-term changes – except luxury real estate agents. Marcel Remus. Just a few days before his traditional „Remus Lifestyle Night“, during which the summer in Mallorca is usually celebrated with friends, clients and business partners, he decided to transform his traditional event into a „Remus Charity Night“ – for the benefit of the victims of the floods in Germany.

It was important for the self-made man to get involved and give back: „This natural disaster affects us all. It is unbelievable that so many people are now facing nothing. That is why it is a great concern of mine to help these people. I am very pleased that I have received so much support from prominent figures in my effort.“ Among them is Denver clan beast Joan Collins and German stars like Jörn Schlönvoigt, He is taking a break from GZSZ to be able to spend more time with his family. However, he will be back on the set of the popular series again starting in January:

„I am currently taking a long break from GZSZ, a five and a half month vacation that I took for my 35th birthday. Our little girl is now four years old, which means we can still travel wonderfully without having to worry about school. I also have a few entrepreneurial activities that I am obligated to do, so I am taking a break for now. But I will definitely be back. Filming for me will begin again in early January. But until then, we don’t have that many firm plans. In September we are going to the Maldives and then we’ll see how the situation is. It’s not really possible to plan for the future, so we’re doing everything relatively spontaneously.“ 

The proceeds from the evening at the „House of Son Amar“ are equally divided between the „Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern e.V.“ and the „Tribute to Bambi Stiftung“ to make a contribution so that facilities destroyed by the floods for children can be rebuilt. „This is great. This disaster has dramatically worsened the situation for children in particular. Because of the flooding that destroyed schools and daycare centers, these children, who actually need special support now, must now be cared for and taught under the most difficult conditions for months on end. Therefore, they urgently need our help. The money that goes to the Tribute to Bambi Foundation will be donated to organizations that are directly helping with the reconstruction of educational facilities and launching projects that specifically support children.“ 

For Evelyn Burdecki, the flood disaster is very close at hand:

„Unfortunately, my parents were also affected by it. I feel terrible about that, I only told them three months ago. House We bought it and we felt very comfortable – and then unfortunately the flood disaster happened. In the living room, the water reached up to our knees. Fortunately, it didn’t hit us as hard as others. But of course my parents are in shock… I’m also currently on Mallorca with my parents because they are currently doing cleanup work in their house.“

And yet another international star mingled among well-known German guests such as Frauke Ludowig (first evening in Van Laack, second in Pronovias), who led the evening: Actress Mónica Cruz, the younger sister of Hollywood star Penélope Cruz, is a big star in Spain, to whom men flock. Also not to be overlooked was the surprise guest of the evening, to whom the „Ladies in Red“ dress code fitted like a glove: Baywatch icon Carmen Electra. In her sexy dress from Pronovias, she looked as if hardly a day had passed since her last appearance in a red swimsuit. „I feel very honored to be here and to be able to help raise money for the victims of the flood,“ she enthused. Among other things, the generous donations in the donation bag came from: Franziska Knuppe (first evening in Talbot Runhof, second evening in Eva Poleschinski) and Loona as a lucky seller, while 90s icon Dr. Alban brought the guests into a spending mood with hits like „It’s My Life“. Main prize of the tombola: a stay in the new Villa Remus worth just under 14,000 euros. In total, the guests donated 64,000 euros. 

How does a VIP party feel during Corona times? Different. But at the same time, it is significantly safer than any bus ride. All guests had to present a negative test at the entrance; otherwise the door remained locked, regardless of who asked to be allowed in – and regardless of whether they were vaccinated or not. In addition, strict adherence to all hygiene regulations was observed. „I am always very cautious with everything, but here I can relax because I know that everything is running at the highest level of safety here,“ said Natascha Ochsenknecht (First evening at Asos, second evening at Zara). And she knows what it means to get sick with Corona: Last autumn it caught her by surprise – and she still suffers from the consequences today: „Sometimes my memory still fails me and my sense of smell and taste are still gone. But sometimes I get a little better…“
